The CISF provides security to Government setups (PSUs) that, are leading Govt sector undertakings. The CISF has one lakh forty one thousand seven hundred and thirty five men presently. Today, it is a leading security agency of India, that secure major critical industrial setups of the country.
The Training school
Jharkhand Government has permission to establishing a CISF central training facility here for the units based in the state.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das agreed to give a 100 acres of land following a request by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
CISF DG (Director General) O P Singh had requested the state government in the inaugural speech at the the force’s Eastern Headquarters.
The Chief Minister has agreed to the request, the release said.
