Dera Sacha Sauda Acknowledged for Exemplary Contribution in Flood Relief Efforts by State Electricity and Jail Minister Chaudhary Ranjit Singh
Sirsa (Dr Sumitt Singh, 25 August) In recognition of its exceptional dedication and selfless service during the recent Ghaggar flood, Dera Sacha Sauda was bestowed with a profound honor at the Flood Relief Appreciation Program. The event, held at the Auditorium Hall of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, was organized by the District Administration to commend the significant contributions of Gram Panchayats and social organizations in the relief and rescue operations. State’s Electricity and Jail Minister Chaudhary Ranjit Singh, presented an appreciation letter to acknowledge the remarkable efforts undertaken by Dera Sacha Sauda’s Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing.
During the event, the chief guest, along with District Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta, conferred a certificate of appreciation upon Dr. PR Nain Insan, Chairman of Dera Sacha Sauda, and Sunny Insan, a member of the Dera’s management committee. The relentless commitment and altruistic service of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing volunteers were heartily applauded by the dignitaries present, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vivek Bharti, SUT Shashwat Sangwan, ASP Deepti Garg, and various other prominent officials, Panch-Sarpanches, and representatives of social organizations.
State Electricity and Jail Minister Chaudhary Ranjit Singh lauded the commendable efforts of Dera Sacha Sauda’s volunteers during his speech to a captivated audience in the auditorium. He acknowledged the diverse perspectives held about Dera Sacha Sauda but emphasized the undeniable merit of their flood relief endeavors.
The minister recounted a crucial incident where Dera Sacha Sauda’s volunteers courageously risked their lives to construct a dam, preventing potential disaster for surrounding villages. He praised the volunteers’ unwavering dedication and acknowledged their role in saving the dam from a dire situation.
Dr. PR Nain Insan, Chairman of Dera Sacha Sauda, expressed gratitude to the administration for the distinguished recognition accorded to Dera Sacha Sauda and other commendable social institutions. He emphasized the importance of such gestures in boosting the morale of organizations devoted to societal welfare. Dr. PR Nain Insan highlighted the unwavering commitment of the volunteers, who continued their service even in the face of danger, inspired by the teachings of Revered Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. The volunteers’ dedication, despite challenges such as snake bites and injuries, resonates with the spirit of service instilled by the revered Guru Ji.
Dr. PR Nain Insan further conveyed that the volunteers are guided by Guru Ji’s teachings to remain steadfast in crisis situations and provide assistance without hesitation, even at the risk of their lives. He acknowledged that while efforts are aimed at preventing natural calamities, Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers are prepared to respond to emergencies wherever they occur. The volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing have been extensively trained to undertake various tasks, including flood rescue operations, fire emergencies, and building collapses.

Minister Ranjit Singh acknowledged that between 500 to 1000 Dera Sacha Sauda sevadars actively participated in the daily flood relief efforts.
